Neloms nominated for Teacher of the Year

Rasheem L. Neloms was nominated teacher of the year at Military Magnet Academy from Charleston County School District.

Byrnes names Holcombe Teacher of the Year

Debbie Holcombe, a SWU graduate and physical education teacher, was named 2013-14 Teacher of the Year at James F. Byrnes High School.

Fipps named Teacher of the Year

Detra Fipps, a 2008 English education graduate and sixth-grade Gifted Language Arts teacher, was named Teacher of the Year at R. Dan Nolan Middle School in Bradenton, Fla.

Teacher of the Year grateful for supportive family

Family, teaching colleagues and former SWU classmates are a blessing to Dana Jackson, a North Augusta Education graduate.

Colber named Pendleton High Teacher of the Year

Dr. Cheryl Colber, adjunct professor of education at Southern Wesleyan University and cooperating teacher for the university’s program in Special Education, was named Teacher of the Year at Pendleton High School.
