Friday, August 16 – Registration and Move in Day
9:00 AM – Check in – Admissions Tent
Get your Registrar check list complete. Residential Students move in.
11:30 AM – Lunch - Dining Commons (Caf)
1:30 PM – Commuter Meeting - Commuter Lounge (upstairs CLC Student Center)
Brief Informational meeting for Commuter Students to be prepared for daily life on campus.
2:00 PM – Student Athlete Parent Meeting. – Newton Hobson
Informational meeting with Coaches and Athletic Director.
5:30 PM – Dinner – Dining Commons (Caf)
7:00 PM – Student Meet and Sweets Social at Blue Hill Coffee Shop (CLC)
A chance to relax and meet some new friends.
Saturday, August 17
8:30 AM – Breakfast
10:15 AM – Welcome opening Chapel / Passing the Mantle – Newton Hobson
A special welcome from SWU administration and an opportunity for students to be prayed over and blessed for the upcoming year. This is final event on the schedule for parents to attend.
12:00 PM – Lunch
1:00-1:30 PM – “My Professor Wants What?”
Hear from current students and professors what it takes to make the jump from high school to college successfully.
1:30–2:00 PM – Break
2:00 PM–3:30 PM – “Meet Your Major”
Get to know the professors and other students in your major as you learn about your program, co-curricular opportunities, and more.
5:00 PM – Dinner – (Caf Dining Commons)
7:00 PM – Women's Soccer Game – Childs Field
Cheer on the Warriors at our tailgate party!
8:30 PM – Warrior Welcome Party – Bryant Lodge
After the soccer game, walk across the street to Bryant Lodge for food, music and games!
Sunday, August 18
Visit Local Churches
7:00 PM – Reach Worship Night at the Amphitheater
