Where is the library?

Many of the library resources are available online from the Rickman Library website, including eBooks, millions of journal articles, and a live chat service for research help.  Search for resources using OneSearch, our online library catalog.

Students may also use their SWU student ID card to check out books at nearly every academic library in South Carolina. (see participating institutions)

Borrowing Library Materials

Physical items can be checked out at the information desk with your SWU ID.

Visiting Patron - Allows any SWU student to take their ID to a participating PASCAL library and check out books. 

Pick-Up Anywhere - Allows students to request books through PASCAL Delivers and have the books delivered to a participating South Carolina academic library for pick-up. 

eBook Collections

These collections contain over 250,000 multidisciplinary eBook titles representing a broad range of academic subject matter. All titles in these collections are available with unlimited simultaneous user access.
