    Southern Wesleyan University President Dr. Todd Voss (center), School of Business Dean Dr. Stephen Preacher (left), and SWU Director of Strategic Engagement Dean Grile (not pictured) had the chance to tour the Boeing SC campus in North Charleston. They are pictured with Education Relations Director for Boeing SC, Dr. Garth Cook (right).

    Grile said, “What an amazing place and a logistical production marvel! The Boeing 787 is assembled in North Charleston, receiving parts from locations all over the world. In our tour we were able to learn more about Boeing’s business structure in South Carolina and around the globe.”

    Grile continued, “We discussed their workforce and their educational needs for the future and we discussed ways that SWU could partner with our current degree offerings and suggestions were made about possible content for future degrees. There are currently 10 SWU alumni working at Boeing’s North Charleston site. We look forward to building a partnership with Boeing and serving their organization and employees as they continue to grow in the future.”
