Three Woodmont High School graduates will participate in choral ensembles in the Fine Arts Division of Southern Wesleyan University, a National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) accredited institution.

Vivian Ewart, Nicholas Palmer and Haley Wilson signed letters of intent and will enter Southern Wesleyan this fall, where they will major in vocal music education.

“These three superb graduates from Woodmont High School have signed to become new SWU vocal music education majors; They will add a great deal to our music program,” said Dr. Don R. Campbell, professor of music at Southern Wesleyan and director of choral activities. “These are the first music students from Woodmont High School to come to SWU. We hope they are the first of many.”

The music scholarship is renewable and open to students who are active in their school’s music programs and Southern Wesleyan students involved in each of the university’s three performing groups.
