SWU to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month
Southern Wesleyan University will be celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month on Sept. 30, at 10:50 a.m. in the Newton Hobson Chapel and Fine Arts Center and later that evening in Founders’ Hall at 7 p.m.
A featured guest will be Dr. Anna Maria Cardinalli-Padilla, a nationally-known vocalist, musician and educator.
“This is the first year Southern Wesleyan University has celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month and we are excited about spotlighting this culture,” said Samantha Wilson, associate vice president of Student Life at the university. “We hope the community will join us for these exciting events.”
