SWU students perform in 2017 Collegiate Honors Band
Southern Wesleyan University was well-represented in the S.C. Collegiate Honors Band at Furman University this past week. These students performed with their peers from schools of music at colleges and universities across the state. Dr. Rodney Dorsey, director of bands at the University of Oregon, directed this band composed of outstanding musicians from 17 colleges and universities throughout South Carolina.
Day is a junior from Pendleton majoring in Music; Otto is a sophomore from Summerville majoring in Music Education; Hanner is a senior from Anderson majoring in Music Education; Martin is a freshman from Hartsville majoring in Criminal Justice; Cromer is a junior from Temperance, Mich., majoring in Religion and minoring in Music; Lankford is a junior from Easley majoring in Music; Phillips is a junior from Easley majoring in Music Education; Dyches is a senior from North Augusta majoring in Music; and Vickery is a junior from Anderson majoring in Music Education.
