Central, SC — Southern Wesleyan University President Dr. Bill Barker attended the “State of Clemson,” an annual gathering held by the Clemson Area Chamber of Commerce for the community to hear updates from Clemson University and the City of Clemson. Dr. Barker met with community leaders including Clemson University President Jim Clements, City of Clemson Mayor Robert Halfacre, Clemson Area Chamber President Bryan Lee, and AnMed Health CEO William Kenley.
“Southern Wesleyan University enjoys having strong relationships not only with our beloved Town of Central, but with surrounding entities like the Clemson Area Chamber, Clemson University, and the City of Clemson,” said Dr. Bill Barker. “It was beneficial to hear all the wonderful things happening in our neighboring region, and SWU looks forward to hosting the ‘State of Central’ later this spring.”
