SWU offering scholarships to TCTC nursing graduates
Southern Wesleyan University is awarding a 10 percent scholarship to associate level nursing graduates from Tri-County Technical College who enroll in the RN to BSN program.
This scholarship will be applied proportionately to each course of the entire RN to BSN program and will apply only toward tuition costs. Tri-County graduates who meet admission standards for Southern Wesleyan’s RN to BSN program will be eligible.
“Our partnership with Tri-County Technical College is not only essential in our joint commitment for community development but also so very natural for both of us,” said Dr. Todd Voss, president of Southern Wesleyan University. “We both believe investment in continual learning will change the world and we recognize this level of partnership will enhance the trajectory of nursing professionals for decades to come.”
“Southern Wesleyan University has once again reached out to assist our graduates who wish to pursue a four-year degree,” said Dr. Ronnie L. Booth, president of Tri-County Technical College. “By providing a tuition discount for our nursing graduates, they are making a bachelor’s degree in nursing more accessible and affordable, which is particularly important to students who face financial challenges.”
“We are very pleased to enjoy our continuing partnership and for TCTC Nursing graduates to enjoy this reduced tuition benefit should they choose BSN completion at SWU,” said Dr. Lynn Lewis, dean of the Health Education Division of Tri-County Technical College.
