Southern Wesleyan applauds outstanding students

Southern Wesleyan University recognized its top students during honors convocation, April 27 at Newton Hobson Chapel and Fine Arts Center on the university’s campus in Central. Pictured is Brian Daniels, right, being congratulated by University President Dr. David Spittal. Daniels, a senior from Greenville majoring in biology and English, received numerous awards and honors, including being named to Sigma Tau Delta, an English honor society. He was also recognized for his honors presentation related to spatial memory loss in rats due to toxoplasmosis. He is also a member of Alpha Chi Honor Society and has participated in several fine arts presentations.
