    Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Board of the South Carolina American Choral Directors Association has made the decision to cancel the Fall Conference that was scheduled for the weekend of October 7-8, 2016. Because of the many school closures in the lower and eastern parts of the state, we saw that participation in the honor and all-state choirs was going to be below the numbers essential to provide a high-quality presentation expected in those kinds of experiences. In the days ahead, the board will be crafting a plan to merge the preparations for this conference into the plans for the Fall Conference 2017.
