Jazzing It Up
The Orange Jam Band, under the direction of saxophonist Dale Linvill, center, kicks off an evening of jazz at Southern Wesleyan University’s 7th Annual Jazz Invitational.
The Feb. 22 event was at the university’s campus in Central. Performances included groups from T.L. Hanna High School, Wren High School, Daniel High School, Westside High School, Spartanburg Day School, Anderson University and Southern Wesleyan University. In addition, this year included some community adults groups from the area. The Orange Jam Band from Clemson, the Electric City Bib Band and SoulFetch also performed in the event.
