Fredericksburg’s Johnson receives SWU ensemble scholarship
Michael Johnson, a graduate of Chancellor High School in Fredericksburg, Va., who plays tuba, will participate in instrumental ensembles as he prepares to earn a music education degree in the Fine Arts Division of Southern Wesleyan University, a National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) accredited institution.
The music scholarship is renewable and open to students who are active in their school’s music programs and Southern Wesleyan students involved in each of the university’s three performing groups.
