Dave Bever was the speaker for Spiritual Emphasis Week on Southern Wesleyan University’s Central campus Sept. 9-11.
A passionate speaker whose high energy and leadership are contagious, Dave Bever currently serves as the director of leadership development and strategic planning for the Greater Ohio District of The Wesleyan Church.
“I’m a real dude, I live in the real world and I’m trying to reach real people for Jesus,” said Bever, who challenged the audience of students, faculty and staff members to expect God to do “great and mighty things” through them. Near the beginning of each semester, the university conducts spiritual emphasis services, providing a time of spiritual examination and growth.
