Ellis awarded Department of Energy internship

    SWU student Michelle Ellis was awarded a Department of Energy Scholars internship this summer. The 10-week internship took place at the Department of Energy Scholars Program – Environmental Science area at the Savannah River Site near Aiken, S.C. The purpose of the DOE internship is to introduce college students and post-graduates to the government agency’s mission and operations. Ellis is a junior from Kennesaw, Ga. and a double major in biology and math.
