DePayne Middleton Doctor
Rev. DePayne Middleton-Doctor, one of the nine victims in the Charleston shooting June 17, was a woman of God who radiated His love to her colleagues at Southern Wesleyan University, aswell as to students who sought her assistance daily at the university’s Charleston learning center. Throughout her ministry, personal and professional life, Doctor was a devoted mother. As she served her community, DePayne demonstrated a Christlike love for Charleston’s less fortunate residents.
