    05.11.16 | Fine Arts Music Ensemble Scholarships

    On Monday, May 9th, Daniel High School senior Alex Birch signed to attend Southern Wesleyan University. Birch has received two scholarships and will be majoring in Music Education. In addition to his academic work at SWU, he will also be earning college credit for participating in the Clemson University Symphony Orchestra. During Birch’s high school career, he participated in the DHS Chamber Orchestra (as Concertmaster), Pickens All-County String Orchestra, Western Region Orchestra, All-State Orchestra, and has scored Superior at Solo and Ensemble competitions.
