SWU Criminal Justice student Erin Harrison will travel in January to Washington D.C. to study public policy and leadership, part of the America Studies Program, made possible through CCCU Best Semester program. This past December, Harrison met U.S. Congressman Trey Gowdy (R-SC) in his Spartanburg Office.
“It was a brief meeting, but I was able to speak with him and key members of his legal staff about history in law and politics, his views on religious liberty and the Constitution, and advice from him to those seeking civil servant careers,” Harrison said.
