Amerson receives SWU ensemble scholarship
Joshua Amerson will participate in choral ensembles in the Fine Arts Division of Southern Wesleyan University, a National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) accredited institution.
Amerson, a graduate of South Pointe High School and York Technical College, will enter SWU this fall and major in Vocal Music Education. Present at the signing were his parents, Bruce and Lynne Amerson; Jane Dill, chair of Southern Wesleyan’s Fine Arts Division; and Dr. Don R. Campbell, Southern Wesleyan’s director of choral activities.
The music scholarship is renewable and open to students who are active in their school’s music programs and Southern Wesleyan students involved in each of the university’s three performing groups.
