    Malek Martin makes his donation during the MLK Blood Drive Jan. 20 on Southern Wesleyan University’s Central campus. 

    Martin is a sophomore from Anderson majoring in Sport Management. The Blood Drive was one of the events organized at Southern Wesleyan to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday. The Blood Connection extended its hours for the drive, due to their current shortage of blood supplies. Sixty-six units were donated during the drive.
