Adams named associate dean
Dr. Francis Adams has been appointed as associate dean for the School of Business and associate professor of finance. Adams holds a Ph.D. in risk management from the University of Edinburgh (United Kingdom), a master’s in finance from Pennsylvania State University, an MS in construction management from University of Reading (United Kingdom), and a BS in building technology from the University of Science and Technology (Ghana). He has served on the faculty of Shorter University (Rome, Ga.), Drexel University (Philadelphia, Pa.), University of Southern Mississippi (Hattiesburg, Miss.), and Napier University (Edinburgh, UK). Adams’ practical experience in the business arena includes founding president of an investment company, actuarial/implementation analyst and managing director with a small business start-up. Adams has also been very involved in ministry as lead pastor, in spiritual formation and leadership development and organizing a Christian fellowship at a secular, private university.
