Jacob Brown, Eric Rollins, Julie Schoebel and Mike McClung had a score of 65.

Marc Hoyle, Reggie Hoyle, Dan Stanley and Turtle Hiott had a score of 68.

Golf teams teed off Aug. 24 at Smithfields Country Club for Southern Wesleyan University's annual P. B. Wood Warrior Open, sponsored by Johnny Ross Insurance – Palmetto Insurance in Anderson, S.C. 

WYFF-TV personality Dale Gilbert served as the emcee for the awards presentations in an outdoor setting where social distancing protocols were followed. Fifteen teams competed in this year’s tournament, named in memory of SWU administrator and noted psychologist, Dr. P.B. Wood.

The winning teams are as follows:

• First Place: Nick Pasqua, Eddie Harmon, Dakota Norton and Lee Norton, each winning a $125 gift card from Smithfields Pro Shop.
• Second Place: John Ross, Jr., Payton Whitlock, Dean Hester and Brian Kincaid, each winning a $100 gift card from Smithfields Pro Shop.
• Sixth Place: Mike McClung, Jacob Brown, Eric Rollins and Julie Schoebel, each winning a $75 gift card from Smithfields Pro Shop.
• Seventh Place: Johnny Ross Sr., Jay Wright, Jackson Williamson and Josh Roh, each winning a $50 gift card from Smithfields Pro Shop.
• Eleventh Place: Marc Hoyle, Reggie Hoyle, Dan Stanley and Turtle Hiott, each winning a $50 gift card from Smithfields Pro Shop.
• Twelfth Place: Josh Quarandillo, Jason DeFronzo, Daniel Ellison, Ryan Strickland, each winning a $25 gift card from Smithfields Pro Shop.
• Closest to the Pin: Mike McClung, winning a $50 gift card from Smithfields Pro Shop.
• Putting Contest: Mike McClung, winning a $50 gift card from Smithfields Pro Shop.
