2020 in Review

The year 2020 brought about its fair share of challenges; but amidst these challenges, Southern Wesleyan University experienced growth and positive change in many areas. The men's basketball team won its first conference title in university history, the town of Central helped create a series of biking/hiking trails in the 100 Acres Woods, and several new online programs were created, including a Doctorate in Business Administration, Master's in Counseling, and an online religion degree program. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the SWU community showed resilience in its ability to adapt to new modes of learning and communication, and was able to safely complete a face-to-face fall semester on campus.
