2020 Career Networking Event at SWU
Students made connections with representatives of many employers and graduate study opportunities during the 2020 Career Networking Event Feb. 13, which included a career fair followed by a networking lunch.
Faculty and staff were able to network with recruiters from businesses, ministries and graduate studies programs. Participating were Founders Federal Credit Union, Catbus and Waffle House; non-profit ministries such as Lifeway Christian Resources, Foothills Church, SummerShine Resort Staffing Ministry and Alive Wesleyan Church; social services agencies included United Way of Pickens and Greenville counties. Education recruiters came from Legacy Early College, Tamassee DAR School and York School District 1. Military and protective services were represented by the U.S. Army and National Guard, along with Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, S.C. Highway Patrol and Rock Hill Police Department. Graduate schools attended with recruiters from SWU Online, Clemson University, University of South Carolina, Richmont Graduate University and Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine.
