A commissioning service was held April 25 at historic Freedom’s Hill Church, located on the university’s campus in Central. Preaching at the service was Rev. Josh Ratliff, senior pastor of Welcome Wesleyan Church.
Seniors graduating in May who were recognized at the Commissioning Service were: Jalen Allen, Central; Miranda Hill, Goldsboro, N.C.; Kylie Rovenstine, Lawrence, Kan.; Casey Shearin, Goldsboro, N.C.; Josh Tolan, Six Mile; Dillon Groves, Laurens; Alex Oakley, Dallas, N.C.; Cindy Rumsey, Gray Court; Stephanie Snyder, Simpsonville; Barry Vaughn, Central; Bethany Collins, Denton, N.C.; and Kiley Waldrop, Summerville. December graduates recognized were Cass Ramey, Easley; Aaron Redwine, North Charleston; and Andre Winters, Rockford, Mich.
