Dear Commuter Students:First, let me welcome you to the SWU community! Choosing to commute to college is a huge decision on your part. While we recognize all the reasons why students choose to commute, we also know that it requires discipline and determination beyond what other students may experience. You are to be commended for your efforts and the journey for which you are embarking. |

| Even though you commute, we want you to be fully engaged citizens of the SWU community. Hence, the reason that attending Orientation is so important for you to attend. We believe that each component of orientation will contribute to a successful start at Southern Wesleyan University. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with fellow commuters and meet students who reside on campus. Plan to attend and be blessed as a result of having done so.
