In addition to the overall increase in enrollment for the university's traditional programs, the number of Wesleyan students enrolled at SWU has increased by 6 percent over the previous year. An estimated $1.3 million dollars in scholarships and grants have been awarded to Wesleyan students and ministerial dependants. Enrollment in Southern Wesleyan University's Adult and Graduate Studies programs continue to hold steady, despite widespread economic uncertainty. The university offers classes across South Carolina, at sites in Greenville, Columbia, Charleston and North Augusta, as well as Greenwood and Spartanburg. "These are days of significant change in our world, but we are reminded that God still provides for the needs of the university and its students. We believe that God has plans for the rising generation." Spittal said. "We are thankful for tangible evidence of his continued blessings through this record enrollment." |
