SWU to host event of “presidential” proportions

Few people have met either a current or former president of the United States, but an event at Southern Wesleyan University promises the next best thing.

The public is invited to enjoy live music and President George W. Bush impersonator John Morgan on April 14 at the university’s campus in Central.

Morgan has made numerous TV appearances as “the face” of the former president at corporate, comedic and faith-based events around the world. Morgan presents a hilarious but respectful impression in a show that elicits heartfelt laughter from both sides of the political aisle. He has appeared on “Family Feud,” “Headline News,” “Hannity & Colmes,” E! Entertainment Network, ABC’s “The View” and “The 700 Club.”

Morgan’s show will start at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Newton Hobson Chapel and Fine Arts Center at Southern Wesleyan University. For details, call (864) 644-5141.
