Raquel Welsh shares a testimony of how the generosity of scholarship donors has made a difference in her life, enabling her to overcome seemingly insurmountable odds and to realize her academic goals. A senior at Southern Wesleyan University, Welsh is a Religion major from Kings Mountain, N.C. The Donor-Funded Scholarship Awards Ceremony took place Oct. 1 in Founders’ Hall on the Central campus of Southern Wesleyan University.
