Most books are available at no cost, but occasionally there are fees associated with acquiring items. Fees may range anywhere from $1.00 to $15.00 or more. The library will normally cover up to $15.00 of any incurred fees for currently enrolled students and employees of the university.

The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material.

Southern Wesleyan University reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of the copyright law. By placing this request you accept responsibility for any materials obtained through the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service, including compliance with all applicable copyright laws and guidelines regarding these materials, and any monetary charges incurred by this ILL transaction. Please allow a minimum of fourteen (14) working days for the fulfillment of this request. If you need a renewal, notify the Interlibrary Loan Librarian at least three (3) working days prior to the stated due date. You are responsible for returning borrowed materials in good condition and on time. If you fail to do so, in accordance with established library policies, you will be required to pay any applicable late fees, replacement, and handling charges.
