1 - Windows 95/98/98se/Me/2000 are no longer supported by the SWU IT department. Vista Business is the recommended operating system. However, Vista Home Premium is supported.
2 - The university provides resident students with Symantec Antivirus software including an annual subscription service for a nominal fee. Functioning and up-to-date Anti-virus software, with a current paid subscription service, is required for all computers connected to the university network.
3 -Students and teachers qualify for discounts on software. Please consult with the IT department prior to purchasing application software.
