Prospective Students -
Approved Software List for Campus PC's:
The Southern Wesleyan University IT Department, in coordination with all other departments, has decided upon the following software standards. Any software italicized is provided by the Information Technology Department. Software not italicized is supported by the Information Technology Department but purchases for those products must be approved by the Director of Information Technology and are usually funded by departmental budgets. Software purchases must be approved by the Director of Information Technology prior to the development of curriculum or implementation of administrative processes. A Software Installation Request form must be completed and approved 3 weeks prior to needing the software package.

Software cannot be present on SWU computers in the following scenarios:
• An installation not by the procedure explained in the Software Installation Policy
• A piece of software purchased for one's home computer
• A pirated copy of any title e.g. a copy from a friend or family member
• Any piece of software in which the End-User Agreement is in any way violated
